It only work sover a serial line, not AppleTalk.

I have a feeling it's my serial port system... I've done lots of fiddleing with it to try and get serial line terminals to work, and my whole OS X system is weird. I'm actually going to be backing up and re-installing the whole system, but that's aLOT of work, since I have to get from a 10.0.0 install to a 10.1.4!

Did I miss something, or is OS X still at 10.1.3? If it's already at 10.1.4, then I'd better upgrade!

PS I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 'Jaguar' to be released after Monday's Stevenote at the WWDC...

Well, I just answered my own question- 10.1.4 is out! Yay! Anyone know what changes have been made? I just looked at Apple's page about it, which listed all the under-the-hood changes (boooring), but I'm wondering if this release has any really cool features, like the ability to run on my Quadra 950, or shooting death rays from the IrDA port on my PBG4, or spring-loaded folders that are so springy they give you whip-lash, or... or... or...
:-)

Cool, that's just what I was wondering about... Still, no death rays... sigh.
