don't people have any idea what accessories and cables cost?

it's hard to imagine i got all this stuff for $6.50 + shipping!

The AppleCentre here at uni has assorted, unpackaged cables for $2 each: if any Aussies want SCSI cables, or parallel or anything like that, then I can get them for you.

Lucky lucky!

I'm thinking of putting a good sized (4 gig or so) hard drive into an PowerMac 8100 (maybe in a custom case) into the trunk of my car, and wired to a screen and small joystick in the front, so I can run MP3's.

Apart from any donated machines (A 650 is coming my way soon, perhaps an LC5xx of some kind too) I think that should be my next save'n'buy...
