Why don't we just link to specs from everymac.com, apple-history.com and lowendmac.com. It just seems rather silly to repeat all of the information they have. The pictures though are a good idea. We can have a 68k mac gallery. FireWire is fast General, 4 star 68k Macintosh Liberation Army |

Not just that, but there's also still detailed spec databases (even for unsupported products) on the Apple Web site, accessible to the public... I can't remember if they require the whole Apple ID authentication, though.GORDOOM Commander, Academic Operations Reserve (University of Toronto, St. George Campus) total Macs liberated: 4 (as of November 8, 2001) "...the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." |

It'd be good, though, to have our own pages that actually tell you everything you need to know, AND have pictures and detailed access instructions.~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit 68k Macintosh Liberation Army (now with forums!) 00013 Macs liberated. |

Why don't we just rip off Apple's layout for displaying the specs? (Oops, I mean 'borrow' )Brigadier MacScuzzy 68K Macintosh Liberation Army Total 68K Macs liberated:5 |

One thing I thought that we could do is host the FMPro database on a server and just build the pages as they get called from the database. Although complicated, it could save a bit of time.(The point about the extra info still stands, though.) ~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit 68k Macintosh Liberation Army (now with forums!) 00013 Macs liberated. |
