Glad to find this forum! I am a strong believer in "old" Macs. It was only back in 1990 when I was in college that a Mac II was the computer to have, it put any PC to shame. After using a PC, the first Mac II I used seemed like a dream (And I couldn't dream of owning one). And now I have a IIfx and Perf 460. I would have never beleived you could get them for $15.00

I really don't think MS Word on a Mac of 1990 has been improved on much, in fact the PC version of MS Word gets in the way. I could make a case for going back to the a Mac II and many older programs for them would actually make things simpler.

Anyway, glad to see you all haven't forgotten these excellent machines.

LCIII FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But really, that thing ruled. Hell, all LCs do. The first Mac i used was an LCII, and the first Mac we had in the house was an LCIII. I'm not sure, but i think i've learnt more from that LCIII than i did any other Mac. That thing is cool. We still have it, and these school holidays i might doll it up a bit. A 100 meg hard drive i believe would make it that extra bit happier...

Pizzabox LCs RULE!!!!!!!
