I was sorting through my 68k stuff in general (as I usually am...) and came across a couple bags of software stuffed in a box of keyboards...well most of them were my personal floppies, but the rest of them were genuine Apple floppies (HD 20 startup disk, mulitple copies of system 7.0.1 (even a copy of 7.0.1 + system 7 tune-up in those special Apple folder thingies!)...

well anyways...I made some images of a few titles (after cross-referencing with retromac68k)...just thought I'd let you people know I'll be uploading these in the next coupla days...these are all floppy images..some 800k, the others 1.44mb

CD-ROM SpeedTools™ v3.6
MaxFax v3.52
FWB CD-ROM ToolKit™ v1.6.3H
Communicate™ Lite v1.0.1
QuickTime v1.5 (I had a similar AtEase floppy, but for some reason there were no files on it
Mario Teaches Typing
New Math Blaster Plus!
Digital Gourmet (haven't installed it, but from what I gather, its some sort of HyperCard recipie book...)

just thought I'd let you people know

*stands back, wonders if thread is superfolous (sp?)*

Some nice stuff in that collection...
My collection is going to go up when I get a proper connection, if ever! I've got some original system and driver disks, MacDraw II as well as MacPaint, and some HyperCard/At Ease/ClarisWorks stuff.

I've also got the entire boxed Kanji version of 7.5 and a Kanji-compatible word processor: "Solo Write".

I also have original Mac 512k system disks, Boxed MacWrite and MacPaint...MacWrite II, Claris Works 2.0...among other things...but these are readily available on the 'net...

Honestly, I don't know. Whatever it is, it's uploaded to the HL server

Actually...I have a feeling it's just a third-party CD-ROM driver a la FWB CD-ROM ToolKit...

Anyone have copies of System 7.1 on 800k floppies, or 800k images?

Umm...if someone has a MacPlus or something and wants to load it with 7.1, but needs to use floppies?

With, of course, that Plus being maxed to 4 mb...

7.1 is the max supported system for the Radius 16 accelerator in my SE (800k drives). i'm not sure i'd want to keep 7.0.1• on it when i take it out of storage and it's got twice the speed of a stock SE and a copro! i'll probably knock it back to 6.0.8 because it runs SO much faster and supports some peripherals that i couldn't use after i was forced to switch to System 7 because programs i needed on my production machine required it!

7.1 on a Plus would be a great project for giving a silly code name like "Futility Base"(the eagle has bombed!) or just plain old "DUMB!"

IMHO, of course!
