I was shopping on ebay for a better video card for my quadra, and I came across this problem. All the nubus cards I saw had the connecter parallel to the card so the card would plug in perpendicular to the motherboard. That's all well and good for macs that are like 5 or 6 inches tall, but how am i supposed to fit one in my 660av if it's only about 3 or 4 inches tall and the slot on the back of the casing is parallel to the motherboard? Your 660AV is supposed to have a special NuBus adapter that goes into that slot on the logic board. Your video card then fits onto this adapter, parallel with the logic board. If you don't have this adapter, look at local computer recycling places.Pizzabox LCs RULE!!!!!!! Warrior maclover5

oh yeah, before i forget - make sure its for the 68040 PDS, not the 68030 LC PDS (for the IIsi)FireWire is fast

Sorry candyPunk, that's only for PDS cards, not Nubus cards. This is what you need. Oh and no, you won't find the 040/PPC version any cheaper.Private EL CINE
