www.miniusa.comDo not download on a 68k or less than a 56k. They went a bit overboard with the flash. Time to start setting aside a down payment fund. 68K's liberated: 0 68Ks adopted to loving homes: 2 PowerMacs adopted: 1 |

~sigh~ My lust hath incresed 10X. I've just vowed to start setting $150 aside for the warchest every month. Well my current car is a red Honda CRXsi, so I like small, cute, sporty cars. I'll just have to see how reliable they are. 68K's liberated: 0 68Ks adopted to loving homes: 2 PowerMacs adopted: 1 |

The Mini Cooper is one of those cars that a large majority of this generation wants. It is highly sought after. If only I had a spare $22000 to throw around for a new car, like Zapski from MAF.(BTW, the configuration want is metalic silver, with sport and luxury packages, automatic transmission, and a few other bonuses on a Mini Cooper (not the S model). Cost of $21560.) ------------------ Captain Z - Sniper 68K Macintosh Liberation Army 18 68K Macs Liberated Visit Captain Z's Starbase of EV Stuff |

[Note to self, do not repeat to Tallgeese the blurb at the site about "compensating for other shortcomings"] ;)Captain Z ... Automatic?! Stick all the way here. Learned on a stick, first car was a stick, my CRX is a stick. If it's not a stick, I don't feel like I'm doing enough driving. 'Sides, I like to shift when I want to. My dreams: Mini Cooper in Silk Green (white roof) with the sport package and AC. $18,800 Mini Cooper S in yellow (white roof) with AC. $21,050. (Of course, it's going to take me about 3 years to get my $7000 downpayment in the warchest.) And by that time there'll probably be something just out of their lease program, and I'll actually get a montly payment I can live with. Of course, in 3 years, when I actually have the brass to buy a new car, I'll probably want something completely different. 68K's liberated: 0 68Ks adopted to loving homes: 2 PowerMacs adopted: 1 |

None of the cars that I currently have at my household have manual, and I am used to automatic from the car I currently drive (1989 Chrystler-Plymouth Grand Voyager LE). It's not like I'm looking for a straight performance car. I'm just looking for an easily managable car with good steering and looks cool.------------------ Captain Z - Sniper 68K Macintosh Liberation Army 18 68K Macs Liberated Visit Captain Z's Starbase of EV Stuff |
