i'm setting up a small LAN between my G4, 5200, and LC475 (once i get it all hooked up). so far this is my list of network games: Bolo and if i ever need anything else:) Marathon 2 Command & Conquer Avara WWII Skyfighters F/A 18 Hornet 2 (but can't get it to work over apple talk...)granted the LC will not be able to run all of these games, but i'm looking for more net games. any recomendations?

If you like real-time strategy, the classic version of Warcraft II will run on all three of those machines. (The Battle.net edition will only run on the Power Macs.)GORDOOM Commander, Academic Operations Reserve (University of Toronto, St. George Campus) total Macs liberated: 4 (as of November 8, 2001) "...the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." |

well, i do have the first warcraft and second warcraft, but the G4 needs the battle.net eddition. when i run the normal versions of the games on the G4, the scroll speed is very very fast (too fast to play the game).

well yeah, but from what i understand, the scroll speed in warcraft is proportional to your CPU speed, thus the better the CPU, the faster the scroll. turning the scroll speed all the way down on the G4 makes no difference whatsoever.-------------------- specialist spirit without Bolo Driver 68K Macintosh Liberation Army Total 68K Macs liberated:1 Edited by - spirit without on 18 Nov 2001 11:13:24 |

Ah, but you *can* play network games between BNE and Classic... So just put BNE on the two Power Macs, Classic on the 475, and you're set!
