Sorry to be a pain, I just want to check what type of modem I should buy. Do I just buy a serial modem? How can I attach the modem?Somebody said take the geoport out and then plug the modem in, is that right? is that an easy task? shaktiman |

If I were you, I'd get one that is designed for Macs (prefarably with Mac drivers included.) Then all you do is plug it in to the serial port on the Quadra and turn it on!~Coxy - Leader, Tactical Operations Unit 00014 Macs liberated |

The Diamond Supra 56k is a good modem. And, remember, use the initialization string "AT&F", it works wonders.666th poster and 666th thread-creator Mod of the Mac II series Forums Total 68K Macs liberated: 7 Regular Disappear! |
