A local college in the area has a room full over 250+ macs mostly old ones (68ks) which are all dirty and dusty which will be thrown away like next week, my friend who works there is giving my a heads up and we are getting them, he is making a iBong out of one ( Dumb crack heads) while the other guy helping is getting about 12 for hacks, and the rest are mine I see that I will use a few and take sum for my collection the rest which I image are 200+ will go to schools in my area that are too poor to afford to buy any, I am going to make labs at a few schools with help with friends and load them with games, learing apps and maybe get the school or distruict to pay for internet on them, ahh LC machines loaded with Bolo, Mario teaches typing, Marathon for the higher grades, Clarisworks, and more. I am going to mark them with a little black sticker, 68kMLA so they will known where they are from, and who knows we might be on the news and get national reconization, boy my 68k Mac liberate count will go up

One of two of each kind I can find, my mom is going to go crazy with all them so I am going to get a storage, there should be like 50 I keep. Maybe I'll put some up for sell too cause I need money towards parts and maintence if any need that.

the whole project sounds great and i'm glad that you're getting to keep some of the swag!

i wonder if any companies would donate licenses for some of their obsolete software revs that you could use for your project?

good luck and have fun!

If it's at all possible, sell them off one at a time... you'll get more if you don't flood the market!

They had a 1400 falling to bits that actually started up... I wouldn't have minded getting it to fix up. Unfortunately, things went beyond my price range!

Ti, if you get any Colour ClassicsPerforma 200, I'm VERY interested. I'll donate a couple Macs to the pile for the labs in trade for one!
