I alluded to this in another thread, and now it's done (for now...)

As with the rest of my crap on Freeservers, you need to copy and paste the URL... sorry!

macaphernalia.8m.com/950.jpg - the tower of power itself, 2 hours to render on a 7200/75

macaphernalia.8m.com/9502.mov - you'll need to d/l this since it's not web ready, it took 5.5 hours to render!

somebody has a yellowed 950

couldn't get the movie to work though...broken movie icon when it loads in-browser...and when I download it to my desktop it opens QT, but no player shows up...

very nice! Just think...soon with your iLuxo, you can render things twice as large in more than less than half the time!

Yes, the reason why the movie is so small is that it was done with Full Renderings of each frame, which adds up to quite a bit but looks a lot better (even in small) than the Quick Preview Render. The QPR also suffers from moire patterns in the grilles, which is bad.

If anyone wants the Bryce 3D file, I'll email you a copy.
