Zip Disks

Picked up this morning a box of 10 new Zip disks (100 Mb)

The box is nicely decorated (looks like a classic car) and disks are still wrapped in the box.

Was just 1 € the set so it's a very nice price as well :)

Wow, I've never seen it in store packaging like that. Would of placed them on the same shelf and packs of Skittles and Mars bars?

Packaging reminds me of this.

Anyone collected these back in the day?

Masterpieces were pretty nice.

Forget about it, also collected a set of restore disks for a Macbook (10.5.5) and a set of white stickers.

These pictures are great. (But I always like pictures of removable storage media.)

I wonder if that packaging was meant to be wholesale packaging. If you buy things at a store like Costco or Sam's Club (in the US) you often get items that are packaged for resale. Do the individual Zip disks have price tags on them?

I second Cory - I'd be willing to put money on this being wholesale packaging, with the Zip carts intended for seperate sale.

And Costco...hmm - that reminds me...I really should sign up for the Costco here in Sydney sometime.

Seems like it, just look at the instructions on how to fold the packaging like a display unit :)

looks really interesting. I really should get some zip-disks myself someday...
