I love the Welcome to Macintosh screen as well. That's why I was asking if there was a way to get it back. It's cool.

It should be possible, as far as how, I have no idea. If you want 7.5 but want the old screen back, you could always run 7.5.0, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah, removing the 7.5 updates is a bad idea. IIRC, just remove the splash screen PICTs (are they PICTs?) from the System file (and maybe the update files?) and it should revert back to that.
