The 9200 needs OS9 or later.

It'll work in any PCI Mac with OS 9, whether ot not it's worth it depends on the CPU, if you are running a high end Mach5 604e or G3/4 then great, if you are running the stock CPU (up to 200 mhz) then not worth it as the CPU can't offload the data to the GPU fast enough to make any difference.

i did it! i now have 7600 / g3 400 running os 9.2.2 264 meg memory

and a radeon 9200
