Which SCSI2SD for Color Classic?

I'm not having much luck in working out which version of the SCSI2SD would be the best to use to replace an internal HDD in a Color Classic. Heck, is a stock CC even compatible with a SCSI2SD?

Thanks all.

Should be compatible!  Personally I'd probably go with a 5.1; the extra whoomph on the v6 would probably be wasted on the CC.

I am using a older SCSI2CF in my Color Classic.  Works great.  I installed it a few years ago.  I used a SanDisk Extreme Pro 16GB and made 5 "hard drives" that were all under 4 GBs.  That was overkill.  A 4GB CF would work perfect.

But to answer your question, yes, your CC and the SCSI2SD are compatible.  I had issues formatting my CF and others have had issues formatting a SD.  It can sometimes drive you crazy.  It did me.

As well as a faster CC, you are drawing far less amps from your old power supply.  And with no spinning mechanical hard drive, your computer will stay much cooler.
