The totally awesome early-to-mid 90's sound (whatever the 540c makes) is my favourite. I have so many memories associated with that sound.

Oh, and as for my Macs, all mine are the defaults

I loved SoundMaster back in the day... I recorded so many (very) low-quality clips from my CDs in order to play them at startup, shutdown, etc.

Changing the Windows boot sound to be a Mac startup chime would rock. Especially if you could change the Windows logo image to look like a Happy Mac.

Been there, owned the T-shirt. A better joke was to copy that sound resource into one of those INITs or extensions that play sounds at random intervals.
