What's my best bet in 2025 for a Mac Plus accelerator?

I've been using my Mac Plus a lot lately, and also my Amiga 3000 with A-Max emulator. I have an SE/30 that works almost perfectly, lost the serial ports to old age apparently, and while it's nice, I love my Plus, the old mouse, and the old (128) keyboard. But using it with the 68030 powered Amiga reminds me how basically slow the Plus is.

I know there were various 68000 and maybe 68020 accelerators for the pre SE compacts, but are they unobtanium now? Any modern recreations/reimaginations?

Plus accelerators are hard to find, and expensive when they do come up for sale. The MicroMac Performer clone will work with a Plus, though it is more complex than using it with an SE, because the Plus does not have an expansion slot. Here is a writeup I did on a Performer clone build, I talk about using it with both the SE and Plus.

Mac Effects sells these recreations, though theirs are set up for an SE. Using one with a Plus requires programming and installing a 5th GAL and also sorting out the mounting to the Plus CPU as I talk about in that thread. Currently there are no modern Plus-specific accelerators.
