Maybe 4 or 5 ounces? I could check with my postal scale when I get home. But... why? Are you questioning someone's exorbitant shipping charges on the Big E?
To be more precise, I'm ordering one (1) Disk ][ controller card and one (1) Apple 5.25" disk controller card, though I assume they weigh roughly the same amount.
If you could accurately weigh them and tell, that would be excellent.
I take it one is the old style 20 pin for the disk drive][ and the other controller card is for the newer style DB 19 or is it 15 newer Apple II drives.
The newer will weight more because of the cable and screws, in the box they als comes with a little apple wrench. I can weight them up and post it for you late Friday. As long as my scale is still working. It is not much that is for sure.
According to my scale, the bare Disk ][ board wavered a bit between 2.0 and 2.2 oz; probably 2.1. The Disk I/O card (including the attached ribbon cable and connector) was 2.4 oz.
