I spotted this auction on eBay and that made me remember my too soon ended love affair with one of my never thought I'd find it conquests, which I don't recall posting.
Mine's not nearly as pretty nor as flexible as that auction's boxed 3400 version compatible with the PowerBooks 190 through Kanga, but I was very happy with it . . .
. . . until I left it plugged in overnight and it was DOA the next day.

So I pulled it out of the 5300c/ce parts bind and attacked it with every . . . whatever I had on hand . . . including Acetone . . .
. . . unfortunately, now the nice face looks like this:

. . . but the F1 tested bad, now I can see if popping a fresh F3.15AH250V in there will bring it back to life!
I need to cut some holes in the previously intact cover skin on the front, but I'm happy! :approve:
