Twinspark, Asante MacCon, RasterOps 264 do they mix?

A totally hypothetical question (with no regard for physical limitations of the SE/30:s insides) -- Stratos Twinspark II (with Daystar 33MHz 040 Turbo), Asante MacCon si/SE30 and RasterOps 264/SE30 do they mix? What I mean, is the is the MacCon pass-through sufficient for a RasterOps Card?

The Turbo040 is really picky about using two cards with it.

We had this before somewhere, I have only one out of all my SE/30 logicboards that seem to work ok-ish with a MacCon and Radius IIsi card stacked onto each other when used together with the Turbo040.

So besides the beefiness of your PSU the logicboard also is a factor there.

Does the RasterOps itself work with the Turbo040 on its own? if it does then just try and plug them together to see what happens.

Worst you could get is that it won't boot at all.

Also try stacking just the MacCon and the RasterOps without the Turbo040 and adapter to see if those two play together nicely. I would say they do though.

I have been using all sorts of graphics cards on top of a standalone MacCon and they all were fine... once an accelerator is thrown in as well things start to get funky in some combinations.

I’m gonna give it a try when RasterOps Card arrives. I should be fine regarding the PSU (recently switched to an ’Enhanced PSU’).

I’ll post my findings here later …
