Twentieth Anniversary Mac PSU Question

I have a Twentieth Anniversary Mac that shows zero signs of life and suspect the power supply. Is the green light on the bottom of the Bass unit supposed to be lit when connected to power, regardless of whether the computer itself is plugged in?

If memory serves, yes the light comes on regardless. I also think the volume dial doubles as the on/off switch on these? Been a while since I had one so may be misremembering.

Hi, yes, i also agree, the LED will lit as soon as connected to mains.

The PSU is just a Powermac 6400/6500 one in the BOSE enclosure, nothing fancy

So I got a working power supply from a 6400. While they look the same on the outside, the boards inside are different. I initially had the thought to just move the cables over to the good PSU. But I suspect this may be beyond my capabilities.
BTW I don't see any capacitors that are leaking or swelling.
Top one is the TAM. Bottom is the 6400.

Slight differences for sure, I know that it uses a similar power supply but as you can see slightly modified. DO you happen to have the part number for your TAM's Delta Power Supply?
