Hello everyone,
I’m trying to get Halo to run on my Mac Pro, and I’m getting the “black screen” issue where the title screen doesn’t render. This is the 2.0.4 universal binary version. I’m running Mac OS 10.6, and I’ve got a Radeon 5870 for a graphics card paired with a DisplayPort based LED Cinema Display. I understand sometimes this can happen due to incompatible resolutions, but I’ve also tried the startup option to “play in a window”, and it still occurs. I tried adjusting the vertex vs. shade options in the startup dialog box, but none of those (or even turning the graphics options off) makes any difference. If I knew how to set the resolution via a .plist file I’d try it, but I can’t seem to find where that is stored.
Any suggestions?
