Any luck digging up those AVID cards?

Yes - I believe I have a complete set with the little ribbon cable. I'll have to test them and make sure they work. Do you plan to use them to make a fancy DVR or something?

IBM says they'll have the entry level Power 7s out in August. I'm probably in the market for a 710 or a 720.
For floppy imaging, it will be booting into Mac OS

Nice! Too bad nobody's porting NetBSD to good Power hardware - I'd love to see NetBSD on real server hardware and on G5s for those of us who can't afford Power hardware.
