You're also not meant to run them with the ODS slot empty. I've heard people say they've had no problems, but technically it is out of spec. Apple shipped some with a special termination card for when they didn't have a PDS card.

Yeah i have a 7100 so will leave that alone. But do have a spare iici case and a vx case. The power supply For these are big thoughI kept one in a IIci-case - it fit fine after some dremeling to make room for the different ports, and got an ATX extender and rearranged the cables. But I've swapped it out for a 7100 board since it fits with the PSU betterView attachment 96786
