Hi all, i put a music disc in my recently purchased tibook, so itunes would rip the songs off of it. now the disc won't eject. any help is greatly appreciated.

Assuming that it's not mechanically jammed, then rebooting while pressing the eject key (I just keep pecking at it; holding it down would probably work just as well) will activate the eject function. It should cough up the disc in that case.
If it is jammed in there (or if your drive has somehow gotten misaligned with the slot), you'll have to open up the 'book. It's not too bad (much easier than working on a clamshell or icebook, that's for certain). If you find yourself in that situation, post back. Someone here will walk you through the procedure.

i think the problem is inside the computer. last night i also tried to watch a movie, and it almost ate my fnf tokyo drift disc. once i find a small enough torx wrench i'll open it up and check it out. thanks for the help guys!

If it's an original Powerbook Titanium (anything up to maybe a 733 or 866? can't remember when they changed it to a standard size slot-load mechanism) the Slot load drives are really janky. I have an old GBit 667MHz (VGA not DVI sadly) and the drive really struggles pulling in discs. the bezel on the case side is really flimsy too which doesn't help - it flexes in funny ways even when the bottom is screwed on. I did get a disk stuck in mine a a couple of times - only way to get em out is to keep rebooting and holding the trackpad button down, or taking the base off and coaxing it out (carefully!). I seem to remember they have an emergency eject trigger somewhere but I forget where :\
