The plastic that held back the spring on this Studio Display broke. Does anyone here have experience repairing this sort of thing? Would a blob of epoxy around the area where the plastic and metal meet do the trick? A photo of this part unbroken would also be helpful to use as a reference.
Unfortunatly, I don't have an unbroken one to share a photo. It is on my list of items to get as I've always loved that Azul Apple Studio Display. I agree with olePigeon, Epoxy would be the simplest solution. I'm not sure if it is a separate part but if it is, you can have some polycarbonate CNC'ed. If it is separate that would be the absolute best option, though the most costly.
