So... Just Acquired a Sealed Apple Service Quadra 900 Board in Box

Makes sense. Maxell is a Japanese brand popular primarily in the US during the 80s, 90s and early 2000s for their VHS and audio tapes, recordable/rewritable CDs and DVDs, and, apparently, batteries.

I think we were talking about the blue ones, but yes Maxell were commonly used in UK/Europe Macs too.
 
I'd be tempted to hack up a PC case for it. Maybe even a rackmount case for extra fun. Rig up a PSU and some drives, and you're off to the races with a fully functional Q900, even if it doesn't have that recognizable case on it.

Any idea how to hack a PSU for this?
 
Had one of the blue batteries installed on the board that came in my current IIci. Am using one of the meowToast adapters on the board that's currently in said machine.
