Sonic CD :)

2 Megafire Controllers

RF Adapter

2x Sega Power Adapters

Got it local too! Next:Mod my US Sonic CD and burn a mix us/jp soundtrack to it!

No gameGear or dreamcast. I plan on getting one.

I have the folowing:

3 Geneises

A N64

Nintendo DS

Gamecube

Master System

The gamegear and the dreamcast are amazing systems(except the gamegear battery life).

Best part of the dreamcast is you can play backups without a modchip(idk if you can do that with the saturn or not, dont own one)

...bastard id die for a mega cd especially with snatcher

ahem mod chips dont come easy on the saturn you need a model 2 saturn and only some model 2 saturns actually accept the mode chip

Sonic CD is great.

Now to make a custom soundtrack The audio is redbook no?

The Idea of a multiprocessor game console was really looking ahead for both the PC/Mac and embedded.

Now I want a quad 040 :p

Some songs from US Sonic cD are better than the EU/JPN. Some from JP sonic CD are better. I am glad the sega cd uses standard CD -ROM

Someone on MR is selling an Atari Jaguar. I believe that was the first multiprocessor came console. 3 chips and one was a 68K!!!! Must Liberate, and play Pitfall!!!!

Nice find there, always loved the Genesis and still do, have one of my own (although it's called the MegaDrive II here). Motorola 68000 power backed by the Z80, doesn't get much better.

Only game console I've ever owned, I still get all teary eyed remembering everyone pawing over the Mega CD and the games we played back then. It was such great fun.

Unlike modern consoles, the sega does not overheat, does not aggrevate (I threw my Gamecube controller 5 times). Sega is dead now. They cant even develop good software anymore.

Ha, I just bought a Sega MegaDrive (UK name for Genesis) on eBay for a friend's 21st birthday present. Cost me a bit more than that mind but it did come with a huge pile of games.

I still have my trusty ol' Genesis that we bought the week it was released in Canada... and still play it to this day.

Sega made some great consoles in their time, and I only wish they kept at it.

My Sega stuff:

Genesis x1 (also have Power Base convertor for Master System games)

Genesis II x 6 (I bought spares just in case)

Mega-Key import adapter

Tototek MD-PRO 32M flash cart

Sega CD II x 2

32X x 1

Master System x 1 (sports pads, powersticks, light phaser, Segascope 3D glasses, nearly all North American released games)

US Saturn model 1 x 1(modded - yes, you CAN mod them. 'sa bitch, though)

US Saturn Model 2 x 1

Victor V-Saturn x 1 (Japanese)

Dreamcast x 3

Game Gear x 1 (includes MasterGear adapter to play master system games, and connector for a second controller)

I truly wish the 32X had gotten better support, alas it was doomed from the start with the upcoming release of the Saturn...

One of the first SEGA CD games I ever bought was Jaguar XJ220. Great racing game for 16-bit.
Really? I was disappointed with it.

Mostly because I'd been playing the Amiga version for many years and had VERY high expectations for the Sega CD release.. It's not even the same game, and the music was WAY better on the two-floppy Amiga version.

On it's own terms however, it wasn't such a bad game, and one of the few racers on the Sega CD.
