SE logic board works in SE/30?

Can I take a logic board from a Mac SE and put it in an SE/30 and it'll work right away (given that there are no defects anywhere) ?

It would be useful for debugging purposes on my compact macs.

The 128K & 512K/e Macs are also interchangeable with each other.

With the Classic to Classic II, you loose functionality of the brightness buttons in the front of the case.

And yes - The SE & SE\30 boards are swappable. There was an upgrade where the board was swapped for a SE to SE\30 upgrade.

No brightness button in the front case for a Classic, rear casing is slightly different on the Classic II (hole for a connector)

I had no clue the Classic II had brightness buttons on the front. I need to find one like that! Late in production addition???? Cool!

Another question -- if I put a working SE logic board in a faulty SE/30, is there any (reasonable) risk that the working logic board will be messed up by incorrect voltages and such from a broken PSU/analog board?
