Does anyone happen to have the SE/30 ROM SIM/Logic Board schematics? thanks. Thinking about trying something....

yeah, they're on some German site, IIRC. I've got them, anyway.

Bomarc Services, of PO Box 1113, Caspar, WY 82602 produce(d) some, and may be able to help you with MLB and PAB schematics, at a price. There are no internals shown for the SIMMs, but memory control is addressed (pun intended).
