Tried searching around a bit, but couldn't find a direct answer so here we go:
What is the best software utility to test RAM that is inside a running, working* SE/30? Preferably something that does multiple test patterns to the memory, and can support either 6.0.8 or 7.x (or both).
I recently added 16mb of ram to my SE/30 to bring it to 20mb total. *I'm experiencing issues here and there (freezes or bombs with Bus Error messages). I want to make sure it is just some programs not liking the 32bit addressing and/or MODE32 and not the RAM itself.
I have heard that MODE32 is picky with wanting matching RAM speeds. My new memory is 70ns, no idea what the old 1mb sticks are rated at.
Thanks.
