The 575 mobo in my Mystic seems to have died. :'(
Some months ago, I came in to see the screen black and hearing the drive alternating spinning up, then down. I couldn't get it to reboot at all. I assumed the drive died and set it aside.
About a week ago I got around to trying a new drive in it. Couldn't get it to boot either 7.6 or 8.0 from an external drive. I could boot both CDs from a different drive though, but then I get the dialog "bus error".
So apparently it wasn't a bad drive, but a dead SCSI bus.
I guess for now I swap the original mobo back in, and start looking for another 57x board.
