I have successfully managed to resurrect my 20MB MiniScribe which I pulled from my SE that I acquired last month. The SE was powering on with the common flashing question mark icon. I immediately assumed the MiniScribe was faulty. Today I installed an Adaptec SCSI card into my G4, and hooked up the MiniScribe, not really expecting anything to happen. I used FWB Hard Disk Toolkit 4.5 to mount this 21 year old drive. It makes lots of funky sounds, and probably won't last much longer. But I'm glad it is still functional. There's about 8MB of data on it, a couple apps and lots of stuff from a landscaping company. It appears my SE was last used for real work in 1998.
