Any recommendations on a method for determining if resource forks are handled properly, reliably, by whatever the storage medium is selected? ...
IOW, I want to check to see if a network share is handling it properly, both with respect to a particular Mac/OS and others.
I'm trying to make use of more current Samba / Netatalk options for dealing with .AppleDouble files.
I've been using a Stuffit file with various Mac utilities from the System 7 era, unpacking, looking for .com.apple.ResourceFork in the extended attributes, file size comparing, etc. but it still feels like nothing but a crapshoot at best.
