So before I came here, my Macintosh LC (my original one) had to be parted out because there was only a grey screen on startup and the floppy drive was totally dead. (it wouldn't read/eject disks at all).
Three years later, I received two manual-inject floppy drives and some Quantum 50-pin SCSI hard drives from WorkgroupServer.
Since I had the parts again, I thought it would be worth a shot if I tried reassembling the Macintosh LC again.
and guess what; I got a blinking floppy! Although the case isn't as nice as my other Macintosh LC, the motherboard in this one has no capicitator leakage at all.
I later put in another hard drive that had a install of System 7.5.5. TBH, it's not that slow at all, even without the full 10 MB.
