Radius Rocket Experts - is this possible?

I was thinking it might be fun to Install the Rocket in my Radius 81/110 to test that very thing, It's too bad the G3 doesn't work. I may have killed it and the HPV adapter by trying them out backwards . . . 7.5/RocketShare test of the IIsi coming up! [}:)] ]'>

Hmm. Could someone use their dougg3 ROM to change the machine identifier on the IIci into something that OS 9 supports?

I assume you get no networking on the Rocket with this setup (i.e. the AppleTalk-over-NuBus hack stops working in post-7.1). So, how do you load software into the Rocket? How do you get data back out of the Rocket?

On the previous page, Booklyn got RocketShare to run under 7.6.1 (I ost my CD) and 8.1 (I haven't gotten a Duo to work with that as yet) in his IIci, so I'm trying 7.5.5 on the Duos for now.

That's awesome that it runs, but I'm still unsure how you exchange data with the rest of the world.

Does the floppy-sharing still work? Do you need the Rocket SCSI-II card and a SyQuest drive?

When I tried Rocketshare on 7.6.1 on my Quadra 800 it did not work at all, taking it to 7.1 made it work.

Perhaps I have an earlier version of the software? I will look into it later.
