Quadra 800 is blind and cant see the HD

Hi,

My Quadra 800 has been rather grumpy lately. It cmae ut with the blinking question mark, and I put in the disk tools disk. It found the drive, and I reblesed the system folder, and restarted. It worked. But whenever you restart from that HD or shut down, the quadra cant see the HD.

I am guseeing it is the PRAM battery.

Run Norton Disk Doctor?

Could be the HD takes too long to spin up, or is set to not spin up untill it gets the OK from the SCSI bus?

Some drives have a jumper for auto startup so it spins up when it gets power.

I fixed it. I rebuilt the desktop and scanned with Norton disk doctor. Thanks for the help.
