PowerMac - universal output support cable pinout/circuit diagram available?

I've got a "magical" video cable that supports any resolution chosen in the Monitors Control Panel from my 6360 or VidCard. No VGA adapter is required for a change! ISTR using it with Beige G3 and a couple of others.

Has anyone got links handy for building them?

I had mixes results between different cables and monitors, the video part is always the same but the sense pins are what will make your cable works with multisync or not.

Thanks much for the link! This cable supports every resolution I've thrown at it without sense line adaptation. I've packed it up with my portable desoldering/soldering equipment. It's custom made, both ends of the cable are off the shelf connectors. If I can't figure it out with a multi-meter, I'll pop off the easier end and slide the cable sleeve off for a look-see.



Heading out of town until about the 27th, nice project for visiting the GRLF.

The VGA option doesn't use a diode - just a line from sense 1 to sense 2.

My fork of the DingusPPC emulator has a function MonitorSenseLines in applesense.cpp that can calculate and draw all the Apple Sense Code possibilities (anything possible with just diodes or wires).
