Powerbook CD drive Help!

Hi

I recently bought a 12" Powerbook G4 on ebay. Everything works great, but there is a problem with the cd drive. The felt that is on the opening of the drive is missing. When a cd is inserted or ejected, it gets a few scratches. Does anybody know how to replace the felt lining?

Go to ifixit.com

Read on how to remove the optical drive.

Get some felt.

Make a slit in it.

glue the felt in place.

reassemble the laptop.
