Powerbook 68k with cd rom drive

I am looking for a powerbook with 68k architecture (especially 68040). I did a small investigation and i found that this kind of powerbooks come with floppy drive. Is there an ability to come with cd rom drive or to connect one on these powerbooks?

No 68k PowerBook can take an internal CD-ROM drive, this capability didn't show up until the 1400 series (PowerPC). However, any 68k PowerBook can take an external SCSI CD-ROM drive.

You need an adapter (or adapting cable) from the Powerbook's HDI30 (small and square) SCSI port to the more regular SCSI port on the external CD.
