PowerBook 540c!

I got a VERY nice PowerBook 540c from macsane. 320 meg HDD, 20 megs of RAM, and two batteries! I'm not sure if they work yet, but I'm gonna leave the thing plugged in and see what happens. I'm getting a 7.6.1 disk from someone else to install on it.

Nice find, especially with those high specs!

If the batteries don't work after charging, try re-conditioning them using the "Intelligent Battery Recondition" utility. If it's not installed on the 540c then it can be downloaded here.

Nice find. The 5xx books are great, but watch out for fragile plastic.

The 540c is a very nice machine - the active matrix screen is just fantastic to use
