Hello everyone,
I recently acquired a Powerbook 520c in cosmetically very nice condition. It doesn't turn on, though, and after measuring the output of the charger, an M1893, I concluded that it's probably broken, as I wasn't able to measure any voltage on the connector. I read somewhere that it's very likely for the capacitors to be leaking and/or malfunctioning, and that replacing the malfunctioning ones would help. I wouldn't know how to open the power adapter though, and my soldering skills aren't very good either. Does anyone know another way of charging my Powerbook, and if not, does anyone know what the easiest way of repairing my charger would be? Or are there any other solutions?
Kind regards,
Macman iPowermacbookprair
