PowerBook 520

Evening all, 
I just obtained PowerBook 520c - for some reason I believe there is something wrong with the board, it has PowerPC upgrade. I already have working B/W PowerBook 520, Could I do screen swap and would I get colour?

Yes, they're completely interchangeable among all of the 5x0 series machines, even the 550c if you found one of those (though of course you'd need a complete LCD/housing assembly for the 550's screen, not just an LCD swap). If you're not doing a full LCD/housing swap the display's specific cables may need to follow from one case to the other, but otherwise the connectors on the inverter and that intermediary board are the same.
