Powerbook 190 ram upgrade sad chime

Hello,

I have a Powerbook 190 laying around in my collection. Machine is working nicely, maybe except for the screen but that's another story.
Recently I found a RAM upgrade module in the local online marketplace for about a price of a cup of coffee so I bought it. Not that I would really need it for anything, but cheap upgrade is always nice? I think the machine has 8mb of RAM on main board.
The module was sold as upgrade for specifically for PB 190, and physically it fits fine into the machine and plugs to the connector. I don't know how large it is supposed to be, maybe 4 or 8 megabytes? But when powering on with the module connected, after the normal startup chime I get a very slow and spooky sad chime. I think it is the "8-chord" chime that the service manual for this machine mentions and suggests RAM issue.
My question is basically can anything be done to get it working? I already tried re-seating it a couple of times and blowing dust out of the connectors. I also tried a pram reset, but the machine doesn't even have a pram battery right now so it doesn't probably do much. Attached are the pictures of the module, couldn't find anything regarding it on the internet. Maybe it's just broken 🤔
