Powerbook 180 + lotsa drives

The Powerbook came with 14mb onboard and a GOOD battery. Yes, I can walk around with it and not need to plug it in for about an hour. :pb:

From someone else was a small stack of 40, 250 and 500mb powerbook hard drives. I was told that none of them were successfully formatting under HD SC Setup, Drive Setup and the FWB toolkit. I slapped one into the 180 and ran SCSI target mode over to a Mainstreet running patched versions of HD SC setup and Drive Setup and all but the 500mb formatted fine. I'm not giving up on that drive though. Perhaps it requires more juice than the 180 delivers. It was trying to spin up but the powerbook kept madly rebooting like it was starved of power.

Already got the battery charged up and 7.1 running with the 131 enabler. Makes a great MS Office system.

Is there any more power savings enhancements besides the Powerbook control panel? Perhaps something that puts the thing to sleep after a set amount of time?
