I just won an eBay auction for a PB100

Looks to be in good shape and running, but has a blotch on the display. Hopefully just cosmetic but if not I have a dead PB100 to be a donor machine. I know it's display works ok - it just refuses to boot properly. I think it's HD is bad.

dead hd (it had a 10mb hard drive!) , dead battery and some weird stuff in the electrics. sometimes it boots and sometimes it doesn't. probably a problem with the power connector.

ill fix it one day when i have time and money.

yup similar here - fixed the hard drive, but the booting is a weird one. i hope to get it sorted soon too.

if i leanr anything useful i will let you know!

Looks as if the LCD may have been frozen; I have seen that happen to an LCD that was left in a truck one time. Image still shows in the blotch area though. I will likely do a transplant with the one that is not working.

well with the super design that is the pb100 - no more than a 10min job. ;D
