Definitely not 10.4”, the picture area is 9.0”. Not sure what the dimensions of the LCD + frame are.

Hi, can you recommend any parts to do this in 2025? also, any more details to build and install?

the LED-converter strips and voltage booster boards are all pretty much the same (product links above have rotted, there links are LMGTFY)

there's not much more to the install than is shown, but feel free to ask questions to clarify anything:

Find the solder points for ENA, GND, VCC, and BRIGHT; remove the CCFL and put in the LED strip (the LED strip will need something to hold it in place as it is smaller than the CCFL)
