Power Tower Computing

How many slots, what CPU, are they working, how much RAM, drives, etc - and do either of them have the mythical PCI/Nubus riser? 
For $100, they'd have to be maxed out, have some interesting PCI cards and a G3 before I'd even look at them. Even at $100 the pair.
But that's just me. I've got more underpowered PCI machines than I know what to do with. YM, as usual, MV

The PTPro in my sig. is a Tsunami-based 9500-like (in MLB architecture) machine with better internal access than its electronic model as well as vastly superior retention of added PCI cards. It has fewer RAM slots and a lower RAM ceiling, more L2 cache, a faster top-of-line CPU (225MHz vs 200MHz), potentially more VRAM (Twin Turbo card), a beefier PSU, and more drive bays than a 9500. In many ways it has a superior specification.
Its looks betray its PC-world conception and elements of its hardware, but it is no less a Mac in operation than any Mac of like spec.
What point were you trying to make in response to Bunsen?

Perhaps your confrontational style is inappropriate to a forum such as this? Should I point out that you don't know the difference between a ROM and a cache card in a 9600? or just mention that there is a difference? Or possibly, since it is one of the reasons for these forums, offer you some suggestions about getting yours going?That, given the questions of his that I underlined in my reply, he doesn't know much about the machines and thus shouldn't be commenting on their worth.

Feel free to cease contributing to my 9600 thread. I think I'd rather trash the thing than accept your help in getting it running.

Bunsen and equill are both very knowledgeable on most, if not all, things PowerPC towers.
Also, I'm sure Bunsen was asking about the PowerTower Pro because I've got a hunch there's more than one model of PowerTower Pro.

Apart from the number of slots question, nothing in my post is irrelevant. And even that question is only there because I couldn't be bothered to look it up.
Admittedly, I had a hunch the "mythical PCI/Nubus riser" was made for the PowerCenters (edit: PowerWave)and not the PowerTowers, but perhaps you missed the laughing Mac at the end there?
As I said, fairly clearly I thought, I was only offering my own view. I'm not personally interested in collecting the clones, but others may well be, yourself included, and more Power to you if you are. I'm more interested in their usefulness, which is why the questions I posted would be relevant to me.
They're "worth" whatever you decide they are worth - or whatever someone else who buys them instead decides. If you ask for opinions from others about how to spend your own money, then you will receive them.
As a comparison, I paid AU$80 for a 9500 loaded with interesting cards, RAM, two drives, and a socketed G3 upgrade, and considered that a good score. At the time I think that was about US$60-70. Possibly I would have gone higher, but my income is not all it could be, and I am forced to sit on my hands at times when it comes to this hobby.
I am not a mod, just a long-time member sharing his own experience: but it seems to me friendly banter is welcome here - hostility is not.

No attitude was given until it was prompted by equill's, but whatever.
There was more than one model of PowerTower Pro in the same way that there was more than one model of the Power Mac 9600; there wasn't. Only different processor/RAM/HD configurations - same machine.
Regardless, let's move on. This has blown up into more than it should be.
