I think you just need a phillips and flat head screwdriver. The screws in the back allow the top of the case to come off. the metal shelf holding the cdrom , HD, and floppy comes off with one or two screws. There is a plastic piece holding the PS in, you slide that out the PS should come off. I think the motherboard has a screw or two holding it in, remove those and push down one some plastic retainers and it would slide out of the case.
Thank You. Well, everything's going well, except that I can't get off this metal shelf from the back side of the 7100. Two clips are holding it. I don't want to break it up.

It's been about ten years since I worked on one, but I remember it as being quite mysterious, until I figured it out and then it seemed head-slappingly simple.
I think you need to pull the power supply out before you can get that shelf out easily. Treat it like a Chinese Puzzle and examine what's holding it together carefully. There is a simple, yet non-obvious way of getting that shelf out. But as I said, try removing the power supply if it will come out, first.
Have you tried doing a Google search on PM7100 disassembly instructions?
