PISCSI Termination Power Switch?

Hi could anybody explain to me what these jumpers do and how to set them up. I am setting a PISCSI on an Akai sampler and keep get a Fatal Exception error on my sampler when the PISCSI is connected. So another thing to consider before I tear all my hair out.
